“Everyone was very pleasant. I am hearing impaired an everyone was very respectful. Made me feel very comfortable. I had some anxiety about my visit but with 15 minutes every was fine. Staff is very courteous, patient, and understanding. I can actually say that I really like this doctor and his staff”

About Dr. Aung Tun
Aung Tun, MD, FACC, is a skilled cardiologist at the Florida Heart, Vein and Vascular Institute, serving Zephyrhills, Lakeland, Plant City, Wesley Chapel, and Riverview, Florida. He is double board-certified in internal medicine and cardiology, which he passed in the top 10th percentile. He began his education at the University of Medicine in Yangon, Myanmar, where he earned his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery degree. After contributing to medical research and working for several years as a general practitioner, he moved to the United States and completed his internship, residency, and fellowship at Long Island College Hospital in Brooklyn, New York. Since then, he has offered cutting-edge cardiology services to the residents of Florida. He is passionate about providing innovative treatments to his patients and is an expert in pacemakers, defibrillators, biventricular ICD implantation, arrhythmia management, and heart failure therapy.
