About Dr. Babar Rao
Dr. Babar K. Rao has over twenty years of specialty experience, is board certified in both Dermatology and Dermatopathology, and is an affiliate member of The American Society for Mohs Surgery. He earned his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from Rawalpindi Medical University, completed his internship at New York University Elaine A. and Kenneth G. Langone Medical Center, and finished his residency in Dermatology at Cornell University. Dr. Rao is considered a pioneer and international authority on Dermatoscopy, a non-invasive method of skin cancer detection. He also provides the most advanced and effective cosmetic treatments, including injectables, microdermabrasion, and a full range of laser therapies. Dr. Rao is currently the Acting Chair and an Associate Clinical Professor of the Department of Dermatology at UMDNJ–Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital.
