About Dr. Ben Markworth

Dr. Ben Markworth is originally from Onalaska, before attending the University of Wisconsin-Madison where he obtained a degree in Athletic Training. From there he continued his education at National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, Illinois where he graduated with a degree of Doctor of Chiropractic. Dr. Ben has advanced training in sports chiropractic with a focus on treating athletes and acute injuries to joints such as ankles, knees, hips, shoulders, wrists and elbows. On top of being a Chiropractor, Dr. Ben has gained experience as an Athletic Trainer treating athletes, sports related injuries, and providing immediate care at high school and collegiate sporting events around the LaCrosse area. Dr. Ben is also certified in Dry Needling, a technique that is used to treat muscle spasms, painful trigger points and soft tissue injuries. Outside the Office Dr. Ben enjoys spending time outside every chance he gets. Between playing golf, exercising, skiing, deer hunting and fishing, he will always enjoy being active outdoors. Dr. Ben also loves spending time with his wife Sydney and their bulldog, Yogi. He hopes to make a positive impact on the lives of everyone he interacts with, while educating and treating patients to optimize their health and happiness to the fullest.
