Dr. Buchanan earned his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Brigham Young University before receiving his medical degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center Paul L. Foster School of Medicine. He completed his residency at Alexander T. Augusta Military Medical Center and a Sports Medicine fellowship at Uniformed Services University. With a background in military medicine, Dr. Buchanan is committed to providing compassionate, patient-centered care focused on recovery, injury prevention, and helping patients return to the activities that matter most. Dr. Buchanan is a member of the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine and the American College of Sports Medicine.
