Uncertainty about what lies ahead and pain from life experiences can be overwhelming and isolating. You may find that you question yourself or feel like you’ve fallen short compared to others around you. I believe that facing challenges is most successful when we feel seen, supported, and understood. Therapy can be a powerful experience that brings relief and the tools to live a more balanced and fulfilling life. I provide psychotherapy for adults and couples and have expertise in working with anxiety, relationship distress, depression, women’s health, and concerns related to confidence and adjustment to life transitions. As a licensed clinical psychologist with a PsyD in Clinical Psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology, I support clients in exploring current and past experiences and relationships to better understand their distress. I find that both insight and connecting with emotion create space for growth. For many, this may involve more effective expression of their needs, learning skills to manage distress, or finding acceptance. I have a particular interest in working with those who struggle with low self-worth and turn to self-blame and self-criticism. Shifting your view of yourself and how you care for yourself is empowering and rewarding personal work. Finding a therapist who you connect with is important. If something here resonated with you, please feel free to reach out.
