Patient reviews for Dr. Braden Criswell
He was very nice and explained everything so i could undestand it. He is a great doctor.
Dr. Criswell is very professional and detailed. His staff are all the same professionals as well.
Nice man. Thoroughly went over my MRI with me and made some recommendations for possible treatment and the pros and cons of each.
Dr. Criswell is very attentive and caring to his patients.
Criswell is very professional. Provides articulate, succinct explanations. He's willing to answer every question. He will give you the feeling that you are the only person that he has to see. He was able to correctly diagnose an issue that another doctor had missed.
Dr. Criseell evaluated the healing progress to date (6 days past surgery) assured us that healing was progressing normally, supplied options for travel and pain relief. Professional I very wsy.
Did an amazing job on a serious injury. Very pleasant. The amount of work that was done on the injury in such a short time does not seem possible. I wasn't awake to watch it but he must be very good at his job and very good with his hands.
He was very personable. Polite and answered my questions without hesitation. I was quite comfortable with my visit.
Excellent service! I was thrilled to be able to have x-rays taken on site with no wait time.
TOOK THE TIME TO TAKE MORE X-RAYS & GO OVER THEM AND THE MRI. GAVE ME SOME SHOTS RIGHT AWAY TO EASE THE PAIN SO I CAN GO TO WORK.
Without hesitation I would recommend Dr. Criswell and Risser Orthopedic Group. The staff is efficient and helpful. The doctors are experts in their field, excellent communicators and never condescending. Even the technicians are wonderful! I honestly cannot remember ever having such a pleasant experience at a doctors office (which is a good thing because my daughter and I both will be going there for many visits in the upcoming weeks).
He is an excellent Dr. I will recommend him .
Everyone is always so nice. Today, especially the X-ray team and the doctor’s medical assistant. Dr Crisswell is one of the best surgeons I’ve ever met.
Dr. Criswell is personable and patient. His staff is very professional, helpful, and efficient.
Very good experiences with Dr. Criswell. Many thanks to Huntington Hospital as well.
Answered all my questions and staff was kind and courteous. Great experience.
We went to see Dr. Criswell because my daughter experienced an injury on her foot. His staff were so kind and professional. I was impressed by Dr. Criswell's bedside manner. He was kind with his words, gentle with his touch and thorough in going through our X-rays and explaining his prognosis.
I recieved the answers I needed for my concerns and I left feeling confident of the decision we made foe my care
Great bedside manner. Very polite and thorough in his explanations.
As a physician myself, I really appreciated Dr. Criswell taking the time to examine my broken ankle and his good bedside manner, explaining the plan thoroughly and clearly. The office staff was also very friendly and professional. Larry, the staff member who placed my cast was also extremely friendly and knowledgeable; had a great conversation with him while he casted my leg.
10 min in the lobby, 10 min. from treatment room to Xrays to treatment room, 15 min while Dr. Criswell and I read xrays. 20 min for treatment, prognosis and treatment planning. 55 min appointment, xrays, treatment, treatment planning and a disc with my images on it. Exceptional! The preliminary info gathering tool is a real pain in the butt!!! I hated every second of it.
I got my cast off today so it was very exciting, after 10 weeks! Dr. Criswell is a great doctor and the staff at Risset is excellent as well-Rochelle, Aisha, Lou, Larry, Jim-they’re all wonderful! Dr. Criswell also helped me with a problem I was having with my shoulder today. Sleeping on it was causing pain so he gave me a cortisone shot & PT prescription. I’m so grateful to Dr. Criswell & his staff for healing my ankles! What a stellar cast!
i was very pleased with Dr. Criswell's findings regarding my knee. He was able to treat me right away without having to make a separate appointment.
Smart, pleasant doctor who immediately diagnosed my problem and recommended treatment
Everything went well, aside from Dr. Criswell making a comment about me coming in there "emotional." I was in major pain, and I did not find it very kind or professional to use that term.
Dr Chriswell, and his office/staff were all excellent. Dr Chriswell explained the procedure fully. His bedside manner is superb. Aishia, his assistant, is on top of everything. Now in recovery mode, they are all still on top of everything for me. The best!! Mark H/Arcadia, CA
Dr Criswell was friendly and he explained exactly what was going on with my father's knee pain. He went over the x-ray and then made recommendations. We will definitely use Dr Criswell again if we need to.
Dr.criswell was very attentive and explained the diagnosis and xrays carefully. He has very good bedside manner and cares about his patients. Would highly recommend him.
Excellet time in and out
Great doctor, very knowledgeable. The whole staff in this office is very professional and accommodating.
Dr. Criswell was quick, efficient, knowledgeable, and friendly. I have surgery coming soon with him and feel confident with him as my doctor.
Dr. Criswell has an excellent bedside manner. He explains the situation and procedures in layman’s terms and is not quick to suggest going under the knife.
Excellent level of care
Good visit, but I Wish the doctor would tell me the proper next step instruction and when my next appt. was. After my boot was place in my ankle. Everybody left the room and not one person informed me whether I was done or not. I waited there for 5min. Until my husband went and got the doctor assistant. Staff was nice and friendly.
Everything I expect from a highly trained and educated professional
Dr. Criswell has an excellent manner and made an unpleasant injection not too uncomfortable. He explained other treatment options and the procedure clearly as he administered the injection. Thanks Dr. Criswell.
DR. took time to show me x-rays of the surgery of my left shoulder. Described type of implant that was used (metal). Removed stitches and placed steri-strips over scar area. Took time to answer all questions. Explained w.hat I needed to do between now and my next visit
Dr. Criswell was very nice and explained everything clearly. He did not seem rushed and took time to answer any questions. A very good experience....
Dr Criswell seems very knowledgeable and caring. He gave me a steroid injection for the pain in my leg and I'm hoping that will work.
Dr. Criswell was very personable, knowledgeable, professional and came highly recommended. He took his time with me and explained my diagnosis, what I could expect and how to improve it to the fullest. The office staff were very friendly, helpful and professional as well.
I appreciated Dr. Criswell took time to show review my Xray and MRI, and discuss my treatment and possible side effects (none really).
This is my response 13 days later: I was glad that Dr. Criswell recommended the next step for treating my foot-wear a walking boot. But 10 days later no boot, so I called the doctor office and the very next day a boot was delivered to my house. But then I had the boot with no instructions on the best way to wear and use it. Finally, Isha, Dr. Criswell Nurse, called me to answer my questions and give me instructions, today.
Dr Criswell is and always will be my first in line choice if I should ever need ankle/foot surgery again. In the past, I never did reviews but, after a rather serious health issues, have felt that it is important to voice my opinions whether positive or negative. the outcome of any surgery has a lot to do with the confidence you have in your surgeon and the attitude you bring into it from the start. In this case, I can say that I am 100% satisfied with Dr Criswell, Aisha and staff here. There was always service with a smile, paperwork and calls returned promptly and accommodations made. I am now back at the gym 6 weeks post surgery and pleased to say that this obstacle has been removed thanks to Dr, Criswell! A high five for Dr. Criswell!!,
Frustrating, more my physical condition than Dr. Criswell, but not sure he always heard what I was saying.
Dr Criswell is happy to answer any questions you have about your X-rays or progress. He takes as much time as you need to be clear and understand your healing process. He is an upbeat person and always makes you feel that things are not so grim even with a bad leg break that I suffered. He did an excelllent repair on a complicated break. I am very grateful for his skillful surgery!
Dr. Criswell is a very well-trained orthopedic physician in many types of injuries and seems to be more up to speed on some of the modern medical treatments and utilizes those treatments before recommending surgery. Although, having had ankle surgery due to a bad break, sometimes surgery is necessary to prepare the injury. Dr. Criswell is a very well trained orthopedic physician and I would recommend him highly.
He performed a surgery on my leg on September 2017 and I couldn't have been happier with the result, no more pain. I saw him today regarding a different and unrelated issue. Great doctor with a lot of patience with his clients.
Excellent, professional, knowledgeable, personable
