About Dr. Brandon James
Dr. Brandon James was born and raised in Texas. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Houston and he graduated from Scholl College/Chicago Medical School with his Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine. Subsequently, he completed his foot and ankle reconstructive and trauma surgical residency and served as chief resident at Oakwood Annapolis Hospital in Wayne, Michigan. After completing residency he and his wife, Dr. Sarah James, moved to New Braunfels to open their practice, Foot and Ankle Surgery of New Braunfels. Dr. James is Board Qualified in Foot Surgery, Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery, all of which are recognized by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. With a conservative and surgical approach centered on patient education and understanding, Dr. James actively works to get his patients back on their feet as quickly as possible.
“Although I am surgically trained, I believe that surgical correction is not always the answer. During your initial evaluation, I will review the causes and treatment options for your problem, thoroughly review your x-rays, and take time to answer any questions. It is my goal to handle each patient encounter with patience, empathy, and individualized care...no two feet, and no two patients are alike!”

Dr. James enjoys spending time with his wife, Dr. Sarah James and their daughter Jacquelyn. In his spare time, he also enjoys fishing, working out, and being outdoors.

Dr. Brandon James was very nice and professional. He knew exactly what and how to treat my foot problem. The office was spotless, the staff are all very friendly and kind. But the thing that I liked best about my treatment was that Dr. James, does his own in house x-rays, I thought I was going to need to schedule an x-ray at the hospital.

I was seen 10 minutes from walking in the door. Dr. James came in and listened to my issues. The staff took X-rays and then Dr. James explained the 2 procedures that would be taking place. He completed the procedures and I was out of office in less than an hour. It was a great experience and the staff were very helpful.

My 9 year old son was very anxious and had already gone to one Podiatrist to fix an ingrown toenail that the prior doctor has done incorrectly. Dr. James was so kind and reassuring to my son and made him feel better even though he had to not only fix a new ingrown infection on the other foot but fix what the other doctor had messed up on the first foot. My son has Asperger's and does not handle anxiety or pain well and the staff there handled him so well and were so extremely patient with him. My son has healed quickly and doing well now thanks to this dr. and the staff!
