About Dr. Brandon Smolarek
I hail from a suburb of Detroit, Michigan. Following a car accident at the age of 16, I had my first interaction with chiropractic, being seen for neck pain and whiplash. Having success with conservative care, I was able to return to athletics. My journey through junior hockey landed me in the chiropractor's office, which continued to help me return to play within a short period of time.
I continued my journey at Suffolk University in Boston, Massachusetts where I played four years of division 3 college hockey while studying biology and chemistry. While in school, I had my fair share of injuries which led me to seek chiropractic care. Because of my success with chiropractic, I then decided that I’d like to help people the way that I was helped.
After completing my undergraduate degree, I then enrolled at the University of Bridgeport School of Chiropractic in Bridgeport, Connecticut. This is where I learned and fine-tuned my skills in spinal manipulative procedures, as well as soft tissue therapy. I am a competitive person who is eager and honored to provide high quality care for the residents of Central Massachusetts, which I happily now call home.

I saw Dr Smolarek after an unexpected injury. I chose to see him after reading previous reviews about positive experiences at his office. After seeing him, I would absolutely recommend Dr Smolarek and he is deserving all of the 5 star reviews on here.
As a weightlifter, I value his knowledge and expertise of the muscles. I appreciate his frequent communication about what adjustments were made, why, and how the muscles worked together. His practice partner was also very friendly which made the office environment comfortable.

Dr. Smolarek is the first chiropractor to believe my chronic pain and help me find short and long-term relief. If you are any kind of athlete, I would highly recommend seeing him! He is friendly and informative and always provides a comfortable environment.

When I first visited Dr. Brandon Smolarek, I could barely run a mile without feeling pain in my shins and also had tremendous pain in my upper back from my work environment. After a few weeks of treatment, I had no pain and was back to running daily and getting through a work day pain free.
By seeing Dr. Smolarek and integrating stretches an exercises tailored to my problem areas, I am now back to doing everything that I need or want to do. My appointments are relaxing and I always feel better after I leave -even if I wasn’t hurting when I came in! Dr. Smolarek is very knowledgeable an very personable. I cannot recommend Performance Health Clinics in Shrewsbury enough!

I don't have enough wonderful things to say about Dr. Smolarek. I booked an appointment after suffering from a sudden case of severe low back pain and Dr. Smolarek was quick to get me an appointment and ease any concerns I had about my pain. He was able to diagnose the cause of my pain, worked with me to come up with a treatment plan, and explained some basic exercises I could do to prevent it from coming back. Would recommend him to anyone!

This has been the best chiropractic experience I have had. Dr. S genuinely cares for his patients. Other providers I have tried do simple adjustments and basically set patients up as a funding source. Dr. S helped me understand the underlying reasons for my pain and taught me exercises to help address it. His goal is that his patients feel better and no longer need him. I highly recommend giving him a try.

I can't speak highly enough about my experiences with Dr. Smolarek. I went in with severe lower back problems and after one session and a few days of rest I was back to 100% health. On our follow up session in passing I mentioned that I had shoulder problems - Dr. Smolarek proceeded to work on my shoulder and then a few days later my shoulder has felt better than it has in years. Again, I can’t speak highly enough about my experiences with Dr. Smolarek.

Dr. Smolarek was great. I had my first visit on 08/03/2021 and he took the time to address all my concerns. I’ve suffered from chronic pain for sometime namely sciatica and recently hand and arm pain so he was sure to address those areas to find the best course of how we’d treat it. He is compassionate and he shows that he really cares about making his patients feel better and to help restore their health. Yesterday’s visit was great and I’m hopeful for positive progress.
