About Dr. Brian Wolanin

When not providing comprehensive eye care, Brian enjoys spending free time with family and friends, especially traveling and doing outdoor activities such as hiking, golfing, and skiing. He also can be found working on his growing vinyl record collection, learning to play the acoustic guitar, and attending concerts of his favorite artists. Brian earned his Doctor of Optometry from Ohio State University and holds a Bachelor's degree from Grove City College. He is excited to call Connecticut and the greater New England area home and looks forward to creating many heartfelt memories.

The doctor I saw was not the same doctor I had booked my appointment with. He was very rude and had practically no emotion. I tried to explain my situation to him and he literally rolled his eyes as I spoke and scoffed at me. He said I had bumps in my eyelid and that was all, didn’t explain what they were, where they came from or what to do about it. And then just walked out. So unbelievably unprofessional and a waste of my time and money to go there.

I was very skeptical once I found out it was a mall Lens Crafters, as I’ve had bad experiences with mall optometrists. But from the moment I walked in, to the moment I walked out, I was treated with nothing but kindness from every staff member I talked to. The optometrist was kind and explained everything very clearly!! 10/10 would recommend!
