“No one can tell me that Dr.Heck isn't great. After having so many doctors not listen to me and my concerns, not explain things properly to me, or not validate my feelings, this was a COMPLETE 180. Not only is Dr.Heck a girls girl, but she's an incredibly knowledgeable medical professional who listens and makes sure you know exactly what she's telling you. Was extremely caring throughout the entire appointment and I couldn't recommend her enough- so happy to have found such a good gyno :)”

About Dr. Brittany Heck
Dr. Heck grew up in the Northern Virginia area. She graduated from the University of Virginia with degrees in Biology and Bioethics and then continued at the University of Virginia for medical school. For her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Heck moved south in search of sunshine and graduated from the University of Florida. But she is thrilled to have returned to the DMV area.
As an OBGYN, Dr. Heck is dedicated to empowering patients in the community through education and personalized care. Her clinical interests include contraception, sexual wellness, and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. She believes in taking a collaborative approach with her patients, ensuring they are informed and feel supported.
In her free time, Dr. Heck enjoys baking, watching UVA basketball (Go Hoos!), and being the #1 dog aunt. She also enjoys traveling and scuba diving!

I cannot speak highly enough about Dr. Brittany Heck. From the moment I walked into her office, she made me feel at ease with her warm, approachable demeanor and genuine care. Dr. Heck is incredibly thoughtful and takes the time to explain everything in detail, ensuring I fully understood each step of my care. She did not rush through my appointment and made me feel heard and supported. Her positive attitude is truly refreshing — she brings both professionalism and compassion to every interaction. I’ve been to 3 OBGYN’s and Brittany was the best as she was kind, made jokes, and made sure I was comfortable during the experience and would highly recommend her to others. She actually took her time with me as opposed to others who have spent a total of 3-5 minutes of me during appointments
