About Dr. Brittany Mohning
Dr. Brittany Mohning was born in Stuttgart, Germany, and raised in Chandler, Arizona. She graduated summa cum laude from Arizona State University with a bachelor's degree in Biochemistry before earning her Doctor of Optometry degree from Midwestern University's Chicago College of Optometry.
Throughout optometry school, Dr. Mohning was actively involved in several professional organizations and held leadership roles in her school's Private Practice Club, Contact Lens Club, and Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honor Society. She gained valuable clinical experience through externships at MyEyeDr in Raleigh, North Carolina; Dynamic Center for Vision Therapy in Aurora, Illinois; the Midwestern University Eye Institute in Downers Grove, Illinois; and the VA Illiana Health Care System in Danville, Illinois. After graduating from optometry school, Dr. Mohning completed an ocular disease residency at the VA Phoenix Health Care System. During her residency, she received advanced training in the diagnosis and management of complex eye conditions, with a particular focus on glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy.
Dr. Mohning is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Arizona Optometric Association. She is dedicated to providing personalized patient-centered and evidence-based care to help improve each patient's vision and overall quality of life. Outside of the office, Dr. Mohning enjoys spending time with her family and their mini goldendoodle puppy.
