About Dr. Bruce Gordon
Bruce L. Gordon, M.D., founder of Westchester Eye Associates and GordonEye, is a Board Certified Ophthalmologist and has been an integral part of the Westchester medical community since 1973. He received his undergraduate degree from Cornell University and went on to earn his medical degree from S.U.N.Y Downstate College of Medicine. After an internship and surgical residency in the U.S. Public Health Service, he completed his residency in Ophthalmology at The Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, later becoming an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Ophthalmology, treating both children and adults.
Dr. Gordon was honored with the prestigious Downstate Alumni Association’s Master Teachers Award in Ophthalmology and has been recognized as a Top Doctor by numerous consumer publications. He has served as Chief of Ophthalmology at the former St. Agnes Hospital and at White Plains Hospital.

The absolute best doctor. PERIOD
The absolute best experience I ever had with a physician, Dr Gordon was thorough, knowledgeable, and patient. After seeing countless Opthamalogists and Specialists that left me frustrated with more questions going out then when I came in. Dr Gordon answered all of my questions and did a super thorough examination that left no stone unturned. He has a great sense of humor, and is a brilliant diagnostician. He reassured me that I didn?t need surgery yet, and that following the condition is prudent. He relieved my fear of ? going blind? and was extremely patient. This is so different then other doctors that are just in a hurry to put you under the knife. The whole experience was top notch, from the office manager to the technician to the Doctor himself, we?re all great, office was spotless, Star Trek level testing equipment. Wish I could give more then 10 stars. If you need an opthamalogist, Go to the best. See Dr Gordon and thank me later

Dr. Bruce Gordon is an “A Number 1” World Class Ophthalmologist. His professionalism is exemplary. He genuinely cares about his patients. He does not rush you, but listens to your concerns, answers your questions and gives you his honest opinion and best professional advice. He has such a warm and caring demeanor which helps diminish any anxiety someone may have about going to doctors. His office is very neat, upscale and quite welcoming, as is his staff. He uses state of the art equipment and he makes you feel completely at ease during your exam. I highly recommend Dr. Bruce Gordon.

This doctor made me feel very uncomfortable and did not listen to a word I said. He insisted I did not need glasses after I have spent my entire life going to numerous specialists and have always been prescribed glasses. He wrote me a prescription after I insisted it was what I was comfortable with. He told me it wouldn't be as strong as my previous prescriptions.. 2 weeks later with the glasses I have received with his prescription. Mind splitting migraines that completely disorient me. I will be returning to my previous doctor out of pocket.

The front desk person, the doctor, and his assistant were very friendly. The doctor was thorough in his exam and answered all of my questions without rushing me out. The office space was modern, clean, and bright with plenty of chairs in the waiting room. My appointment was on time too, and I will definitely return for my exam next year!

I have only ever written a review literally once in my life. But I had to leave a response for Dr. Gordon. What a pleasant visit I had today. At one point I forgot that I was at an appointment because it felt like brunch with a friend. I was seen right at my appointment time. The staff were very nice. The office was very clean and nice. The doctor took time to LISTEN and ANSWER ALL of my questions and concerns. I wish he was my regular PCP. It's so hard to find a good, knowledgable and reliable doctor that makes you feel safe, seen and heard. I would highly recommend Dr. Gordon to anyone in NY, no matter how far your coming. You wont be dissappointed!
