Dr. Bruce Levine, PhD

Psychologist
CA
As one of the only Board-Certified Clinical Psychologists in Los Angeles with over 20 years of experience, I am here to help you. I treat the full array of psychological and emotional difficulties, including depression, panic, OCD, relationship issues, anxiety-related physical and emotional disorders, sleep or stress-related problems, intrusive thoughts, family and marital conflict, social anxiety problems and post-traumatic disorders. I can employ biofeedback therapy for patients with chronic pain disorders or those needing stress reduction techniques. Within a 5-mile radius of zip code 90210 (Beverly Hills) there are literally hundreds of "therapists" and "counselors" offering some form of psychotherapy. However, there are only 10 Board-Certified Clinical Psychologists, and I am one of them. Learn more about why selecting a Board-Certified Clinical Psychologist should matter to you. Following a Ph.D. degree at Hofstra University, I completed a 2-year Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Cognitive-Behavior Therapy, at Temple University Medical School. This training is not a requirement for licensing as a psychologist in California, and therefore, as you might guess, very few psychologists in LA have had this advanced clinical training. I have also served as a member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Behavior Therapy & Experimental Psychiatry. After moving to Los Angeles in 2012, I served as a Clinical Psychologist at the UCLA School of Medicine and prior to that I was the Chief Psychologist at South Nassau Communities Hospital in NY, as well as Clinical Psychologist for the hit TV series "Hoarders" on the A&E Television Network. I have comfortable and private offices at both Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles, and on Wilshire Blvd in Beverly Hills, closer to the Westside. When you phone, I will answer your call personally, insuring your privacy.
