About Dr. Caitlyn Cortner
From childhood, Dr. Cortner suffered from a range of health issues, including chronic ear, sinus, and strep infections, as well as hormonal imbalances and persistent acne. Despite taking antibiotics regularly, her symptoms persisted, and she was diagnosed with PCOS at age 13. Medical specialists advised her to manage the symptoms with medication, as there was no known cure for the disease. However, after her mother's positive experience with chiropractic care, Dr. Cortner learned that her body had the ability to heal itself. Through regular chiropractic treatment, she found relief from her PCOS symptoms and was able to stop taking medication within months.
Inspired by her personal health transformation, Dr. Cortner pursued a career in chiropractic care, earning her Doctorate of Chiropractic from Life University in 2016. She specializes in family care and has received advanced training in managing infants and children, as well as prenatal and postpartum care. Dr. Cortner is also certified in the Webster Technique and is working toward a Diplomate in Pediatrics and Pregnancy through the ICPA.
Dr. Cortner is committed to promoting wellness and educating the Cumming community about how to live a healthy and happy life. She regularly speaks at various events and organizations to share her knowledge and experience.

I have been receiving weekly adjusted and monthly decompression sessions, and I can confidently say that my lower back issues are no longer a problem. I took an appt for my 85-year-old mother for vertigo & tinnitus to see Dr Catie Cortner. When we got there Dr. Cortner was unavailable & we had to see Dr Morgan. After the appointment, we were hit with a hefty co-pay. It felt like they had withheld this information from us until after the appt. They told us to come back for Dr Cortner to discuss treatment & payment options. When we arrived, instead of a one-on-one consultation, we were put into a room with other patients for a 45-minute sales pitch. She discussed other patients’ X-rays & histories without any apparent consent. My mother sat on a hard metal chair throughout that. We waited an hour & a half past our appt time. When I voiced my concerns, she insisted that her clinic had told everything. She claimed that she knew her patients well. When I asked her why my mother was there, she said that she was there for body pain when, in fact, she was there for vertigo & tinnitus. This proved that all she cared about was making money.

I loved how personal everyone was. Quick and easy wait. You tell them what you need, and they listen. Everything is also very clean! A very cute area for your kids to play in the waiting area. I love that they have reading material while you do the stretches and exercises too! Each season there is a new theme too!
