About Dr. Candice Escalea
Are you looking for a foot doctor? Pain and loss of function in our feet and ankles can be a huge obstacle, and we understand that getting your body back to normal is of the utmost importance to you. That is why we offer the highest standard of care in podiatry. We seek to make your visit simple, stress-free, and effective! It is our goal to resolve your pain and function issues in a way that allows you to live the life you are accustomed to.
I earned my Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine and completed my residency in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery at the New Mexico Veterans Affairs Hospital. I also hold a bachelor’s degree from Xavier University of Louisiana. With this training, I am equipped to identify the cause and solution for your particular podiatric problem.

This was a referral from my primary care physician after an injury to my right foot. First observation was encouraging with a welcoming staff. Meeting the doctor was very much like engaging with someone you have known for a long time. Easy to talk about your concerns and very easy to understand her instructions and suggestions for future care.
I will be recommending her to many of my elderly neighbors.

Dr. Escalea was very nice, professional, and helpful. I wanted to see if I should get bunion surgery and based on her assessment, she recommended other interventions before going for a surgery (even though I’m sure me having a surgery with her would be a lot more profitable than me using non-surgical interventions, I felt like she actually cared about my health and well-being). Her staff was really kind and efficient, too. I’d definitely recommend her!

Going to the doctor these days can be stressful and scary. But this office truly understands patient care. I was greeted by a front staff that was personable, thorough, friendly and helpful. Check in was smooth. The gentleman at the front desk was calm and kind. He called me by name upon entry which let me know they were prepared and expecting me. And although I was initially confused about the detailed intake questionaire, once I met Dr. Candice, I could tell she is all about getting to the root of the issues. She asked intuitive questions, but more importantly, she LISTENED. She has great bedside manners and I felt like a patient not a number. Her assistant is awesome and had the referral information with suggestions waiting by the time I was checking out. The office team instills patient confidence. I'm excited to see the results of my recovery working with them. If you are looking for a doctor that cares, schedule an appointment with Dr. Candice. I don't think you will regret it.

I'm most definitely going back. Hand picking the doctor was one of the best decisions I've made in years. The whole staff was so friendly. They were so on point with everything I really didn't have to ask any questions because they provided me with the most beneficial information ever. I was seen immediately. They were so kinda honest and professional as well. I was so impressed. I wish i could give them a million stars. I know there's a lot of options out there but you're wasting your time if you go to any other doctors. I highly recommend them and that will be my doctor for the rest of forever. Period.
