“Dr. Beach was fabulous! She was a great communicator, provided excellent information and a detailed plan moving forward.
The only glitch I had was when scheduling on Zocdoc, it was stated that Dr. Beach was not covered under my health care insurance. A call to the office assured me she was. I also received a text letting me know I had chosen a doctor that I did not have coverage for. Perhaps Zocdoc can fix the problem so that people schedule with her and don’t shy away because of non-coverage.”

About Dr. Cara Beach
Dr. Beach completed her undergraduate degree in exercise physiology at Michigan State University. She was also a four year starter on the Michigan State Women’s Soccer team where she served as team captain her senior year. She earned her doctorate of Podiatric Medicine degree at Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine. She completed her three-year surgical residency in trauma and reconstruction at Legacy Health and Kaiser Permanente Hospitals.
Dr. Beach’s clinical interests include conservative and surgical approaches to sports injuries, foot and ankle reconstruction and trauma.
Dr. Beach’s hobbies include skiing, mountain biking, fly fishing, hiking, camping, trail running. She enjoys doing these with her husband and dog.

My appointment was made for a week ahead. The next day it was changed to 20 minutes later, still at the Cornell Road office. Three days later I received a notice verifying an appointment at a different office on the day after the appointment I made. Since I did not make this second appointment, I cancelled it. The day before the appointment I had made at the Cornell office, I received an email verifying this appointment. When I got to the office on the day I had scheduled and at the time, I was informed that there was no appointment for that day at that office. Obviously, Zocdoc screwed up. Fortunately, Dr. Beach made time for me and took care of my problem.

This was my second visit but I don’t feel like I received anything that helped my bone pain from my bunion but we did trial and error with a boot and stronger anti-inflammatory but it has nothing to do with their office or her that it didn’t help. I have a few weeks before surgery and look forward to it.

I was able to get an appointment right away. From the front desk person to the staff in the back, everyone was pleasant and kind. Dr. Beach made it feel like we'd known each other for a long time. She sat down, was personable, asked pertinent questions and guided me in how to take care of my foot fracture. I actually enjoyed and appreciated the visit and advice.
