Cara J. Hall, MD, earned her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Rochester. She completed her internship and residency in Family Medicine at Duke University, followed by a fellowship in Primary Care Sports Medicine at the State University of New York, Buffalo. Dr. Hall specializes in managing patients with musculoskeletal problems, focusing on sports medicine. She serves as a team physician for USC Athletics and the Los Angeles Kings hockey team. In addition, she treats athletes of all ages and patients with arthritic joints, with a special interest in patients with concussions.
Dr. Hall's philosophy of care is to work with each patient to create the best treatment plan tailored to their goals, empowering them to take control of their own health and wellness. To that end, she strives to maintain open communication with patients and multidisciplinary colleagues alike.

The facility is really nice and has free on site parking. My wait time was minimal, and the doctor was the best orthopedist I've seen. She was friendly, listened to my issues, and explained everything thoroughly. She would be my first choice if I had to go back to an orthopedist.

I could not get in and see my regular orthopedist so I made an appointment with Dr. Hall. The only issue I had was that I was put in an exam room and waited about 30 minutes before the X-ray tech came in to get me for my X-rays . After that, things moved along pretty quickly. Dr. Carr arrived and I was glad that I came to see her. Although I have been seeing the same orthopedic surgeon for a few years now for the same (joint) ailments, Dr. Carr seemed to be a little more progressive than him. Both explain and listen well and was happy to see those traits with Dr. Carr because they can be rate to find in some doctors. She gave me options that my current doctor never gave me. Overall, I think I like her better than my current orthopedic surgeon and will stick w/her even though it is a further drive.
