Dr. Reyes was invited to join BayView OB/GYN in 2008 by Dr. McNeill, who had the opportunity to observe and work with him over four years at Bayfront Medical Center. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from Universidad Central del Caribe School of Medicine and completed his internship and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Bayfront Medical Center, where he received the Maternal Fetal Medicine Award and the Patient Satisfaction Award for his outstanding clinical abilities and bedside manner. He is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and is fluently bilingual in English and Spanish. Dr. Reyes lives in St. Petersburg with his wife and two daughters.

Office staff was super friendly. Check in went smoothly. Doctor was nice too, and made me feel comfortable during my annual pap smear . Issue was with how he answered my questions. He seemed very rushed and didn’t take the time to properly explain to me anything. I wish I had pushed a little harder but it is hard to when he is getting up to say goodbye before you have time to process anything. If you are looking for a quick annual check up and don’t really have any health concerns this doctor would work. But being that I was a new patient with concerns I did not feel like my needs were met.
I had a wonderful experience. I moved to the area recently and needed an appointment. I always prefer a female doctor for this type of practice. I felt really comfortable and would highly recommend Dr. Reyes.

It wasn’t that he was a *bad* gynecologist, but he missed all the marks for me. It just felt like he wanted me in and out as fast as possible. Didn’t give me time to go into too much detail about anything, and I didn’t get the chance even to inform him I needed trauma informed care. When I laid down he did everything without telling me what to expect or what he was doing and I felt very out of control and uncomfortable. Later I saw my charts and he said he explained me and covered different topics that he probably was supposed to and didn’t.

I am very happy with their service. All doctors are great very caring like family,. Carlos Reyes did my C section 30 mins was done i barely had pain. Nurses always returned phone calls on time. Billing department was always very helpfull never had an issued with them. I had recomended Them to several family and friends. Thank you everyone
Dr. Reyes knew I was beyond nervous about my 2nd C-section (8 1/2 yrs apart) Not only was he always very reassuring at every appointment, he was quick, to the point and professional. The day of delivery I got to the hospital at 5:30 am. at about 6:15 they took me to get prepped and when walking to my pre-op room I saw Dr. Reyes sitting at the nurses station, looked up, said "Good morning, are you ready to meet your baby today?' I've always dealt with waiting on a Dr, the dr being rushed, irritated etc. Never Dr. Reyes. In the OR I was shaky and a nervous wreck. He and the staff cracked jokes at his expense, and put me at such ease. The nurse wiped my tears after I heard my son's first cries because I couldn't move. They helped with my nausea, me being cold etc. Throughout my pregnancy the staff was phenomenal. They even knitted a little beanie hat after I found out the gender. Always on time with their appointments, reassuring and professional. I recommend this offer to any and every woman I know looking for a physician
Kindest, caring, and knowledgeable practice. I have seen both Dr. Reyes and nurse midwife Darlean Weingarten and they are both incredible.
I've read some of the other reviews, and I have not had one negative experience with anyone at Women's Care of Florida and I have been going there for over 8 years.. The staff in the front office are so friendly (Mrs. Howe) , as well as all of the assistants to each physician. They have always returned my calls within a reasonable period of time and have been helpful. I love Liz Gonzalez (ARNP) and Dr. Carlos Reyes. First of all, Liz is so amazing. She goes above and beyond for her patients. She is gentle, compassionate and truly takes the time to get to know her patients. Dr. Reyes is equally as amazing. He is knowledgeable, professional and takes his time with his patients. I recommend Women's Care Florida (especially Liz Gonzalez and Dr. Reyes) to all my clients with complete confidence. Thank you for being such a great facility!!

Dr. Reyes is an amazing provider. Caring and compassionate. He knew I was nervous and anxious and he was great. I would recommend him to everybody.
