He completed his post-graduate training with an internship at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas and residency at Bellaire Medical Center in Houston, Texas. Dr. Smith is board certified with the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and the American Board of Foot & Ankle Surgery. Dr. Smith is also on staff at Little Company of Mary Hospital and Medical Center, Mercy Hospital and Medical Center, Advocate Trinity Hospital, Advocate Christ Medical Center, and St. Joseph Hospital. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and the American College of Foot and Ankle Orthopedics and Medicine.
