Dr. Carolyn Chudy is a board-certified physiatrist with specialized
training in musculoskeletal medicine, interventional spine care,
and sports medicine. She is dedicated to helping patients restore
function, reduce pain, and return to the activities that matter
most to them.
Dr. Chudy completed her residency in Physical Medicine and
Rehabilitation at New York Presbyterian – Columbia and Cornell,
where she also pursued advanced fellowship training in
Interventional Spine and Sports Medicine. Her clinical approach is evidence based, minimally invasive,
and highly personalized, combining diagnostic precision with non-surgical treatment strategies to

Dr. Thompson has been immensely helpful as I've been coping with some use-based body issues. I especially like that she doesn't immediately reach for her prescription pad and/or a syringe, preferring to have me try other treatment modalities (e.g., she gave me a referral for a wonderful acupuncturist). She's very knowledgeable and listens well; I recommend her without reservation.

I went to see the doctor for my back pain for 2 months. All she did was to give me anti-inflammatory and more stronger anti-inflammatory. Nothing I didn't know myself, other than I needed a prescription from a doctor. In the end my back didn't get any better. I need to see a different doctor.

Dr. Thompson was awesome!! She was very professional, caring thoughtful and thorough. She actually listens to the patient and will let the patient explain the symptoms and issues they are facing/dealing with. That is a big plus right there. Most doctors will just read a chart/x-ray and will not listen to your issues or concerns. Not only will she thoroughly explain your prognosis, she will discuss with you treatment options for your issues. She treated my issue and explained the underlying problems that I've been dealing with for a while that other doctors did not treat.
She is highly recommended. I just wish more doctors were like her.

I had a great visit with Dr. Thompson. When I walked in ahead of my appointment time, I was sent for x-ray immediately. After, I didn't even have to wait again to see the doctor. She was so nice and did a great exam. She diagnosed a problem and gave me a plan for treatment immediately. Dr. Thompson was very positive! Highly recommend!
