After receiving her Doctorate of Optometry, she continued her training by completing a residency in ocular disease and primary care at the Muskogee Veterans Hospital in Muskogee Oklahoma. She has had the privilege of participating in multiple mission trips here locally in Arizona as well as worldwide, including Mexico and El Salvador. Dr Lux is dedicated and passionate about dry eye management. She is driven to prevent and improve symptoms of dry eye disease and meibomian gland dysfunction. She is certified and trained in multiple procedures for the diagnosis and treatment of this disease such as lid cleaning and debridement, amniotic membranes, punctal plugs, light therapy and dry eye contact lenses. You'll find Dr. Lux spending a lot of her time in our dry eye clinic. In her spare time, Dr Lux enjoys spending time with her 3 small dogs, relaxing with her husband, knitting, crocheting, and looking up bad jokes.
