About Dr. Chad Kaplan
Dr. Chad Kaplan is a highly respected, board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in cataract and glaucoma surgery. He is an expert in laser cataract surgery, using premium intraocular lenses to optimize both distance and near vision, aiming to reduce reliance on glasses after the procedure. In addition to his cataract surgical services, Dr. Kaplan offers comprehensive medical, laser, and surgical treatments for glaucoma, as well as refractive procedures such as LASIK.
Dr. Kaplan obtained his medical degree and completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Florida, where he served as Chief Resident and chaired the Resident Graduate Medical Education Committee. Following his residency, he pursued a Surgical Glaucoma Fellowship at Columbia University in New York, where he actively engaged in academic roles at both Columbia University and New York University, making significant contributions to the education of ophthalmology residents. His research interests are centered on aqueous fluid dynamics, with the aim of enhancing understanding of glaucoma pathophysiology. He is a distinguished member of several esteemed professional organizations, including the Chandler Grant Glaucoma Society, the American Glaucoma Society, the New York Glaucoma Society, the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology. Dr. Kaplan has been a board member for the Florida Glaucoma Society since 2023, currently serving as Treasurer.
In 2021, Dr. Kaplan decided to return to South Florida to be closer to his family and start a family of his own.

Great Dr. Zocdoc needs to put the name of medical practice in the email notifications, the building # would be extremely helpful and the room # in this case 201 which would signify the 2nd floor.
The practice needs to put their name on the map sign out side the building and on the building sign next to the elevator so visitors can find them quickly.
