I rarely leave reviews, but my experience with Dr. Friend’s office was so upsetting that I feel obligated to warn others.
I booked through Zocdoc, followed every instruction, completed all paperwork, and still received two morning-of calls accusing me of booking incorrectly or not being prepared - both times due to their own system or communication issues. When I calmly expressed frustration, three different staff members took turns getting on the phone to insist they’d done nothing wrong, talk over me, and ultimately cancel my appointment. I left the call in tears.
I’ve never been treated with such dismissal or hostility, especially in a medical setting where patients are already vulnerable. If you choose this office, be prepared for last-minute changes, zero accountability, and a front desk that prioritizes being “right” over providing care.
I genuinely hope the doctor is great, but I never had the chance to find out - I couldn’t get past the front desk.
