For starters, the office is very clean and his staff is very respectful. They had all of my documents ready for me to sign and go. Dr. Patel himself was very laid-back and chill. I like that I was able to make conversation with him. He is very knowledgeable and informative. you can tell he knows his stuff. He explained everything to me through and through and left little room for question. Overall 10/10 experience! I would definitely recommend him to any and everyone!!!!”

About Dr. Chirag Patel
Dr. Chirag Patel is excited for the opportunity to serve you! Originally from London, England, Dr. Patel moved to the United States in 1998 with his family. He attended Texas Tech University and the University of Texas in the Permian Basin for his pre-doctorate studies in Psychology, Business Administration, and Pre-Medical Sciences, where he graduated with honors and distinction of Summa Cum Laude. During this time, Dr. Patel spent thousands of hours volunteering and shadowing with several hospitals and physicians, where he continued to develop his passion for helping people through the medical arts. Dr. Patel went on to complete his Podiatric medical education in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania at Temple University, where he was the recipient of a merit-based scholarship. Following graduation, Dr. Patel went on to pursue clinical training in Manhattan, New York where he trained under a leading physician for Laser Medicine and Surgery of the Foot and Ankle; followed by surgical training in Foot and Ankle Medicine and Surgery in Atlanta, Georgia and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. During this time he did several rotations in various medical specialties including anesthesiology, infectious disease, internal medicine, radiology, orthopedic surgery, general surgery, wound care and more. After leaving Philadelphia, Dr. Patel moved to Louisville, Kentucky where he provided his Podiatric services to over 4000 Kentuckians in a span of one year as a Podiatrist, with many of these patients belonging to the geriatric population. During this time, Dr. Patel developed a deeper connection in providing quality and comprehensive care for the often-forgotten geriatric patient population – ensuring that his patients had all of their questions and concerns addressed while receiving a high level of care with compassion.

I highly recommend New Horizon Foot and Ankle. Doctor Patel was able to fully resolve my plantar fasciitis with shockwave and laser. I cannot believe how quickly it healed very capable practice with friendly and supportive team. Thank you!

I have been seeing Dr. Patel since July and he has been amazing. He did my bunion surgery on my right foot and results were great. I love it!!! He is very knowledgeable and professional. My daughter is also his patient. The office is clean and safe. I definitely recommend them!!

My experience at new horizons with doctor Patel was out standing. I have been in pain for many years with ingrown toenail and hammer toe. Doctor Patel performed surgery that completely corrected my condition. Best post opcare; kind, proffesional and supportive doctors and staff. My recovery was swift within a few days after surgery. My feet looks Beautiful!! I am already back to work at full capacity. I would highly reccommend seeing dr. patel if you are having issues with your feet.

DR. PATEL WAS GREAT. I HAVE HAD ISSUES WITH FOOT WARTS FOR MANY YEARS. I HAVE BEEN TO SEVERAL OTHER DOCTORS FOR IT AND THEY HAVE USED ACID, FREEZING, SURGERY - NOTHING WORKED. DR. PATEL TOOK A FULL HOVE TO EXPLAIN WHY WHAT HE DOES WITH LASER IS BETTER. I HAVE HAD 3 APPOINTMENTS SO FAR AND 3 OF THE 4 WARTS ARE GONE COMPLETELY. THE LAST ONE IS ALMOST GONE. ITS BEEN ABOUT 3-4 MONTHS AND AM VERY GRATEFUL TO DR. PATEL. THANK YOU FOR HELPING ME!

Dr. Patel was very kind and professional during the removal of my ingrown toenail. I was super nervous, anxious for nothing! I did not feel pain when he numbed my toe-only small sting. Nothing compared to the pain my ingrown toenail was causing. Staff were also super friendly. I look forward to getting any future treatment with him.

This is a best place to go if you have real problem with your foot and ankle. My foot was is agony due to my accident. I went to urgent care they took x-Ray but missed my fracture. I was in severe pain for a week. A friend recommended me to this place. Their customer service was welcoming and Dr. Patel took me in right-away. He put me in cast/special boot and I was able to walk/put weight on my foot during my follow up appointment. It's been a month now and my foot feels much better like my accident never happened. I am very grateful for your proffessional help. I recommend this place to anyone. Trust me you get your money worth.

I had sharp pain in my both feet for over 3 months. I bought the special shoes with spring in it to reduce pressure from my heel. I tried everything nothing helped. I couldn't walk, stand, or sleep. Pain was like 24x7. I finally scheduled an appointment with Dr. Patel. The moment I entered in his office everyone was friendly & helpful. Dr. did Exam, walking machine, ultrasound, injection, they wrap my feet with cushion and gave me boots to wear. I left happy with almost no pain. it's been 5 days. I feel much much better. Pain is almost gone. Each day I am getting better: I will recommend this place to everyone, they are like family and care for their patients.

The doctor I saw wt NHFA was Dr. Patel and he was pleasant as well! He took time to explain how being flat footed is contributing to the pain I am experiencing, especially when preparing exercises such as squatting. And while I knew being flat footed was an issue, Dr Patel really went into detail on why having foot arches are so important in complete body alignment. I haven't had my custom orthotics made since I was about 14 so I was expecting a very mechanical experience (make an appointment, get cant made, get out) however Dr. Patel made the whole experience seem very memorable and gave me a nice chuckle every time we spoke. As far as service goes, the clinic has far exceeded my expectations.

I am so grateful to have found this office. What an amazing journey. After many years of pain and discomfort all is well and surgery was just a few weeks ago. I can already wear my fancy wedges, something I haven't been able to do in long time. I can't believe how painless this whole joint repair was including the implant. The care and compassion I received from everyone here was above and beyond my expectations. I highly recommend this clinic and this procedure - what a change it has made. I wish I had done this years ago.

New horizons is, hands down, one of the best medical practices I have ever been experienced. I loved the fact that I could book my appointment and fill out all paperwork and insurance information online and did not have to deal with it in person. Dr. Patel and entire team here is just excellent. Doctor is very friendly, informative, professional and super patient. With his help I have had dramatic improvement with my foot pain. Thank you very much for everything.

I have had plantar wart issues my whole life. I have gone to several podiatrists, dermatologists, tried anything I could. I am so grateful I found Dr. Patel. He took the first appointment as a walk-in and explained the entire treatment in detail. After 3 sessions with him the wart that would not go away- It's gone! Thank you, thank you, thank you Dr. Patel. You are the best!

Have had heel pain for a long time, having had Dr. Patel treat it with laser & shockwave, I haven't felt the pain ever since. Inspite of taking injections previous to the treatment, I was suffering, but Dr. Patel made the difference. Thanks to him.
