The best doctor I have seen yet! I’m excited to work with him on a chronic knee problem. Kaiser can suck it. This is the doctor you need to be seeing. Kind and really cares about you and your issues.

Doctor Christian was friendly and patient, listening to my symptom, taking the time to go over my medical history, answering my questions, and explaining my MRI result with easily understood language. I would 100% recommend him.

Simply Unprepared for our appointments. After a lot of research I was really looking forward to meeting with Dr. Guier for a lingering back problem I’ve had for a couple years. Both visits (in person and via zoom) were spent trying to recover a password. He didn’t have to access my X-rays or MRIs. He had notes from the imaging center regarding the x-rays and nothing regarding the MRI, which he just skipped over saying he will contact the manager so he can get access to the MRI’s. He said that after my first meeting with him regarding his password problems, that he didn’t solve prior to our second appointment two weeks later. I’m not a physician but it seems like looking at the MRIs and X-rays, or at least making sure you have access to them, prior to your appointments is pretty necessary. I will absolutely be seeking secondary opinions from people prior to making any decisions.
Dr. Guier is a legit physician who not is super knowledgably and a master at his craft, but he truly cares about his patients. Recently he called me out of the blue to see how I was doing after an injury - even though I chose to have a different surgeon do the work (different expertise).

I have seen 5 foot doctors in the past 2 years and Dr. Guier has given me the most attention of any of them. this is only the beginning of my journey with him but I comfortable knowing he’s trying to get to the bottom of the cause of my foot pain??

I have a lateral meniscus tear. The doctor referred an MRI and helped me track down the issue. He had some technical difficulties getting the MRI to show up properly but he was kind enough to spend extra time with me with further appointments to try to explain me the issue. Unfortunately, the technical issues still existed. The part that I am mostly dissatisfied about is not being confident on the solutions that were provided to me. one was meniscectomy. I do not want to do that as it increases the onset of osteoporosis. The doctor was not able to explain me the effects of not having an operation. The doctor suggested me to get meniscectomy and he'd try to seal in a tear but he expects that to open up again and he expects another surgery and if that doesn't work then finally he'd want to replace it. I asked him why not just replace it right ahead. He said its not his first preference but did not explain me why. I do not want to get operated 2-3 times in my knee but of course the doctor wants it. I just could not trust him with it. I wouldn't wanna go back again.
This was my first time with Dr. Guier. He is a very good listener and has good bedside manner. He has advised me few things which I would follow and I hope I recover soon

Dr. Guier is an excellent doctor: extremely generous with his time, very caring, and a superb listener and explainer. I highly recommend him.
As usual, Dr. Guier exceeded expectations. My pre-appointment x-rays were scheduled by his office and immediately analyzed by him. He also began my treatment so I didn't have to make an extra appointment. One of the best orthopaedists around!
Dr Guier was excellent! He calmly attended to my situation, and helped me understand what was going on and plan about recovery. His thought process, receptiveness and clarity earnt my respect. I would highly recommend him to others.

Dr.Guier was amazing, he came across as both friendly and professional, he went above and beyond. I joined a video call. Dr.Guier patiently listened to me describing my symptoms, then suggested me to see physical therapist and asked to see me months later to check the progress. He even made a zoom Call with me after our appointment to show me one stretch that I could practice on a daily basis before I get my appointment with the therapist. That was very thoughtful. Thank you doctor!

REALLY listened to what I had to say even thought I was a little frenzied. Most drs are quick to dismiss my concerns because they see I also have anxiety. He was the first to ACTUALLY listen and look and really care. And saved me and my hands from becoming immobile. Thank you.

tDr Guier is the consummate professional. I have seen him for years, and he always takes time to explain and show the issues and makes sure I understand. I appreciate he isn't quick to offer a shot to minimize the pain, but talks long term solutions. gold standard!

Chris is an outstanding Dr. who cares about his patients. Although we had to do the consult remotely, he correctly diagnosed my condition and then followed up with physical therapy instructions that were helpful. If you are looking for an "old school" Dr. that truly cares about his patients, I highly recommend Doc Guier!

Very thorough physical exam. Very thorough in describing the results of the x-ray and MRI, including direct observation of the scans and providing anatomical drawings to help understand the injury. Easy-going bedside manner, interested in me as a patient, and took plenty of time for my appointments; no rushing. Open to collaboration with specialists and provided referral as requested.

Dr. Guier was fantastic! Based on my description of the details, he was able to identify the problem exactly (a torn MCL) and demonstrated the problem using diagrams and 3D anatomy models. I was able to clearly understand what I can and cannot do while healing. He also explained a few exercises that I can do to improve the healing. He is super amiable and very proficient.
