“HAVING LIVED WITH BACK PAIN FOR YEARS, I HAD GROWN USED TO THE OCCASIONAL SPASM THAT PUT ME OUT OF WORK FOR A FEW DAYS AT A TIME. HOWEVER, WHEN I STARTED TO BE TREATED BY DR. KOCH, I WAS ABLE TO FIND IMMEDIATE RELIEF FROM THE SHARP PAIN. DR. KOCH LISTENED TO AND CARED FOR ME; HE WAS INTENTIONAL AND TRULY INVESTED IN MY HEALTH. DR. About Dr. Christian Koch
Dr. Christian grew up in Bluffton, Ohio before attending Miami University of Ohio where he studied and received his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology (Exercise Science) and Health. While at Miami, Dr. Christian participated in Division 1 football and served as the team’s punter. This experience of partaking in college athletics at the highest level, combined with the desire to pursue healthcare, shaped the way in which Dr. Christian lives his life and molded his desire for a career to help others in the health field.
To further his education, he attended the National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, Illinois for his Doctorate of Chiropractic degree. There he practiced Chiropractic medicine in clinical rotations at the downtown Chicago Salvation Army. While in rotations he also worked as a Chiropractic Assistant/Rehab Specialist at Lakeside Spine and Wellness where he later was hired as a Chiropractic Physician.
Since Dr. Christian has extended his education with post-graduate education in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT) to help further assess and treat patients in the most evidence-based and non-invasive way possible. Dr. Christian believes that patient education should play a major role in the way he treats and he enjoys not only helping patients understand their aches and pains but developing individualized steps necessary to get them moving in the right direction. Dr. Christian’s goal for every patient is to educate and empower them to be able to accomplish their goals, strive to be their best, and live life to its fullest.

I saw Dr. Koch for a variety of musculoskeletal issues. As an athlete, keeping my body in top shape and alignment is crucial for performance and recovery. Dr. Koch performed a thorough history and physical exam in order to understand my goals. He is a great listener and very personable. I am more than satisfied with the results taht I have seen through his treatments. His at home exercises have been very helpful. I absolutely recommend him to anyone seeking help for their aches and pains.
