He is dedicated to treating chronic and acute conditions such as depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, and schizophrenia, among others. Dr. Ortiz believes in treating everyone equally with great empathy and understanding. Throughout his career, he has served diverse populations, which has helped him develop the perspective that each individual requires a unique approach for better overall treatment. Outside of medicine, Dr. Ortiz has a passion for sports, following soccer, basketball, football, baseball, and more. He also enjoys traveling locally and internationally when possible. During his downtime, he likes to relax with a night in watching Netflix and a good movie.
