Dr. Christina Remek is a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in neuropsychology and the assessment and treatment of neurodevelopmental disorders (ASD, ADHD), anxiety, and mood disorders. She treats children, adolescents, and adults. Dr. Remek earned her PsyD in Clinical Psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She completed a residency at New Directions for Young Adults.
Dr. Remek conducts comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations assessing cognitive, academic, social, and behavioral functioning. She provides a clear diagnostic profile along with an outline of strengths and challenges to help clients receive proper support to reach their potential. She evaluates competency, traumatic brain injury, memory problems, giftedness, learning disorders, ASD, ADHD, and other psychological issues. She is trained in administering the ADOS for Autism Spectrum Disorders.
Dr. Remek uses an integrative approach drawing from Psychodynamic and Cognitive-Behavioral techniques. She employs social skills training, play techniques, and parent coaching with children and caregivers. She enjoys collaborating with caregivers to help them meet their child's needs while promoting healthy growth and individuation. She also applies mindfulness-based strategies and DBT, incorporating insight-oriented techniques to address anxiety, depression, and relational issues across the lifespan. Treatment is tailored to the individual and may vary based on presenting issues. Overall, she promotes a holistic method treating mind, body, and spirit. Dr. Remek takes a compassionate, strength-based approach, helping clients achieve balance and improve well-being.

I will meet with you at intake and determine what is the best fit based on availability, diagnostic presentation and personality styles. I tend to be flexible and do my best to attune to your individual needs.

I utilize an integrative approach to meet the needs of the individual and tailor treatment. Working with my practice can include a combination of evaluation, therapy, and neurofeedback or biofeedback based upon my initial evaluation of your case.

It was difficult getting an initial OV with Dr Remek (we waited a few months) but once we got in, appointments were seamless. Of note, we were given the choice of seeing another provider in the practice but chose to wait. We did neurofeedback for my son with ADD which helped with his emotional lability. She is also quite patient & flexible with working with my son who, because of his ADD, has poor time mgt skills. I am very grateful:)

Dr. Remak and her staff were outstanding for our medical journey with our son and it has been quite the journey. I can’t thank them enough and would highly recommend them to anyone in need of their services. We traveled from Boca to visit them , it was worth it!
