I find no fault with Dr. Beer except that she is clearly working in a system that makes her have to see patients quickly in a short time frame... so it's just very fast, all business, and we are in and out. In some ways that is good - - I don't need coddling or hand holding and it's good to get out of their quickly - - but I feel SO SAD that in my time as an Optum client, in all these years, I have never had strong menopause support. I went through my entire menopause years (before Dr. Beer became my doc, because my last doc at Optum stopped practicing) with zero HRT counseling or help, and I was really suffering with a lot of body aches and pains. I will forever be sad that when I needed it, I could get no help.”
