During this year, he specialized in caring for athletes at all levels, including the Washington Redskins, multiple local high schools, and the Special Olympics. Dr. Eckland maintains a wide skill set in his expertise in orthopedics. He focuses on open and arthroscopic treatment of the shoulder and knee. He provides surgical and nonsurgical care for fractures. Dr. Eckland performs numerous knee and shoulder replacements, including unicompartmental knee replacements.
