The practice is led by Dr. Christopher Galbick, DO, a board-certified psychiatrist. Dr. Galbick personally completes all new psychiatric evaluations to ensure each patient starts with a thorough, accurate assessment and a clear treatment plan. He remains actively involved in patient care and supports the clinical team as needed, helping ensure a high-quality experience for patients across the practice. We focus on evidence-based treatment for conditions such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, OCD, PTSD, psychosis, and related concerns. Care may include medication management, psychotherapy, or a combination of both, depending on what is most appropriate for each individual. Our approach is practical and collaborative - we take the time to understand each patient’s history, goals, and preferences before making recommendations. As a fully telehealth practice, we are able to serve patients across North Dakota without the barriers of travel or long wait times. Most appointments are conducted by secure video, allowing patients to receive care from home while maintaining privacy and convenience. Because we are a telehealth practice, we do not prescribe DEA controlled medication, such as stimulants, benzodiazepines, or sedative-hypnotic medications. At New Beginnings Psychiatry, we believe good psychiatric care should be accessible, personalized, and grounded in sound medical judgment.
