About Dr. Christopher LaCross
Dr. LaCross is a concierge medicine physician who works outside of insurance dictating how to practice medicine—no more 15-minute visits where a physician doesn’t even look at you or examine you! Because of this, no insurances are accepted or billed. Originally from New Hampshire, Dr. LaCross completed his undergraduate studies and earned his Doctor of Medicine at Tufts University in Boston, MA. He then went to Tulane University in New Orleans, where he completed both his internship and residency in Internal Medicine.
He has extensive research experience in HIV, beginning at Tufts with a focus on cardiovascular disease risk in female patients pre- and post-menopause in relation to specific HIV medications, and continuing at Tulane, where he studied barriers to HIV care and stigma in rural Louisiana. Dr. LaCross has significant expertise in LGBTQA+ healthcare issues, HIV, infectious disease, men’s health, erectile dysfunction treatment, hormone imbalances, management and optimization, trans health and transitioning, aesthetics, complementary medicine (including herbal therapies, naturopathic, and functional medicine), and compounded peptides such as Ozempic for weight loss and growth hormone-releasing hormone for vitality, skin elasticity, endurance, energy, and libido management.
He especially enjoys blending Eastern and Western medicine to create a holistic approach—not just one dictated by big pharma and the “newest drug,” or the assumption that a drug is always needed (there isn’t a pill for everything, despite our love of easy fixes!). Every doctor I have ever seen acts like asthma and anxiety aren’t real and Dr Lacrosse takes it seriously and is fantastic.
