This doctor tried to get me to cancel my appointment twice and when I showed up was rude and focused solely on payment. I recently moved to the area and my insurance had an out of state address… this apparently was a major issue (it’s not) and the doctor was unwilling to see me because “I wouldn’t return”
When I finally did convince them to see me with my valid iD they were incredibly rude about it.
Also the equipment was broken.
Just go see someone else who cares about patients.

Dr. Lyon called personally to preview my ocular profile. We typically only speak in person with front office staff so this was a pleasant surprise. Doctor invited and answered my questions. Both he and his staff are most proficient in conducting the examination. All in all, an excellent practice. Highly recommend!

Dr Lyon is amazing. He took care of my eye condition that I have spent years and thousands of dollars trying to treat. No one made any progress until I saw Dr Lyon who treated my condition quickly. I started experiencing relief in one day after starting treatment. It is now day 5 post treatment and I no longer have the painful symptoms I had previously. I'm so grateful for his thorough evaluation and the time he spent explaining what caused my symptoms and how he was going to treat them. He is definitely the best opthalmologist I have ever seen.

My first appointment with Dr. Lyon was magnificent. First of all, the accessibility to the building in regard to location and parking was incredible. Then, his office staff was lovely; the assistants took the time to carry out a few tests (for balance, color blindness, pressure, etc.) before I met Dr. Lyon for the dilation aspect. They thoroughly explained the purposes and expectations of each test. I had different appointment days for each eye, which at first I was skeptical of, but then it made perfect sense later, as I recuperated fully from dilation in one eye each time due to my diabetic status. Dr. Lyon's bedside manner is remarkable, and his advice to preserve my eyesight with certain exercises, foods, and routines made me feel well taken care of. I highly recommend him and his clinic!

I experienced a level of unprofessionalism that I haven’t come across in a medical space before. I felt uncomfortable about the care I received from both the medical assistant and Dr. Lyon, and frankly, I felt scammed (high copay for nothing). Dr. Lyon called me ahead of time to give me an idea of how the appointment would go, and the actual appointment proceeded very differently. I returned home feeling really uneasy about how I was treated and questioning whether or not I received appropriate/professional care.

Doctor Lyon is passionate and experienced. After running from doctors to doctors no one could figure the issue with my eyes. Dr. Lyon was the only doctor who could tell me what was happening and help me cure my medical issue! He’s funny and cares about his patients. Always such a great experience at his office.

Dr. Lyon and his practice was incredible! He was exceptionally kind, understanding, patient, personable, and honestly really funny too! His staff was nothing short of extraordinary from start to finish. It felt efficient but also educational! In the *very* brief wait, they played me a video that detailed the issue that I was having. So when my appointment began, I felt completely at ease, which for me is crucial when it comes to eye care. I have another appointment next week, and even though it’s about an hour drive for me, I’m genuinely looking forward to it!! I couldn’t recommend him enough!!!!

I have been a patient of Dr Lyons since 1989. They are very good, tell you a lot of stuff that you didn't know and even inform you of ways to avoid having surgery or other problems. Gave me vitamins that will stop my eyes from aging and prevent cataracts from forming or slow them down, and that is the best news so far. He told me how I can preserve my eye health without surgery. How to prevent having surgery later on in life. I am now 56 years old, and I find my eye site is failing me. He was very helpful. Even told me what to do to get my health back to good standing. He really was very informative. He probably saved my site by going in early. Thank God for Dr Lyon.

I had visited two other doctors due to complications from my previous Lasik surgery; however, none of them were able to find or treat the problem. Dr. Lyon performed comprehensive exams and was able to diagnose and treat my eyes. His staff also worked together with my insurance company to ensure coverage. I am more than happy with my experience!

Very thorough care, good follow-up, genuine concern for my well being. I have dry eye, cataracts, glacoma, diabetes, & spec. rare condition in left. Dr. Lyon keeps things in control w/meosete and vision is remaing pretty stable. Less risk for worseing of conditions.
