About Dr. Christopher Sellars
Dr. Sellars is a Board Certified Sports Medicine specialist.
Dr. Sellars’ practice focuses on treating Orthopedic, Sports & Spine injuries using soft tissue treatments for myofascial pain, prescribing individualized physical medicine & rehabilitation programs, utilizing orthobiologics for reparative procedures including prolotherapy, platelet rich plasma and lipogems for sports injuries, neck and back pain and osteoarthritis management.
Dr. Sellars received his medical degree from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine after which he served as Chief Intern at Nassau University Medical Center during his first year of post-graduate residency training.
He completed his residency in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at the prestigious Rusk Institute for Rehabilitation Medicine/ New York University –Langone Medical Center. Subsequently, Dr. Sellars completed an AOA Accredited Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship at Cleveland Clinic in Ohio. Throughout his fellowship year he also received his training in interventional spine procedures. Dr. Sellars has been practicing in his specialty since 2012.

He was so polite and very attentive. He had a wonderful bedside manner and you can tell that he cares for his patients. An action plan on the first visit,which provided some relief. I’ll definitely be back for my 2 week follow up visit.
