About Dr. Claudia Ravins
Claudia Ravins, MD, is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist at Raveco Medical in Queens, New York, with three locations in Forest Hills, and Woodside.
Dr. Ravins earned her undergraduate degree in anthropology and minored in biology and chemistry at Queens College, City University of New York. She then pursued her medical degree at the Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Dr. Ravins completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Brookdale Hospital in Brooklyn, New York, and thereafter began serving the diverse populations of New York City at several health facilities across the city.
She previously served as the Director of the OB/GYN Department at North Shore University Hospital – Forest Hills for over 13 years and most recently served as the Director of Minimally Invasive Gynecological Surgery at Flushing Hospital. Dr. Ravins is currently the Director of Minimally Invasive Gynecological Surgery at Mount Sinai South Nassau Hospital in Oceanside, New York, where she also holds hospital privileges.
