About Dr. Cody Academia
Originally from Wahiawa, Hawaii, Dr. Cody always felt a strong responsibility to help people. He grew up playing baseball and earned a scholarship to play in college. Although a career-ending injury closed that door, it opened the door to his chiropractic journey.
Dr. Cody studied biology at Eastern Arizona College and Arizona State University before enrolling at Parker University, where he earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree. While at Parker, he discovered that chiropractic was more than just the cracking of joints-it was a way to help people return to the life they want to live. He also held leadership roles in the Gonstead Club and Sports Performance Club. After graduating in April 2019, Dr. Cody became the chiropractor for Texas Advantage Volleyball, a nationally ranked volleyball club.
Dr. Cody is a licensed and board-certified chiropractor in Texas. He views the body as a whole and believes in its power to heal itself. As a former athlete, his approach centers on adjustments and the muscles, tendons, and ligaments surrounding the joints. He is proficient in soft tissue techniques that complement adjustments, allowing the body to fully express its healing capabilities.

Dr. Cody is…. Absolutely. Amazing. I have never seen a chiropractor like him and I will never seek out another one. He’s so compassionate and caring and sincerely cares about his patients. He is always there to listen to my concerns and always addresses them. Can’t wait to see him again tomorrow!
