“I don’t like going to urgent care centers. Naturally, they get a lot of patients that are sick and want care right away. Corewell care center on Woodward in Royal Oak was busy. Receptionist was very friendly. Had 1:15 appointment and waited about an hour. Which I say wasn’t bad. Saw Nurse practitioner, Nadia. She came in the exam room, bubbly and friendly. Listen to my concerns told her I was at another Corewell care center on Christmas Day and still not feeling well and and hurting when I coughed. Like my ribs were going to break.
I can imagine Nadia’s day of seeing sick people is crazy! She was so pleasant, helpful & caring. My guardian angel for the day. Had chest x-ray and confirmed my suspicions. Bad upper respiratory bug and probably start of pneumonia. The x-ray technician, Terry, was very friendly and also helpful. Of the two Corewell urgent care centers I’ve been to I would recommend this one 100%.”

Rude staff they kept saying my insurance wasn’t accepted and I told the staff that the info that have in their computer was wrong and I don’t have that insurance showed her my insurance card which clearly had the type

I set an appt for 9:15. I wasn’t seen until after 10. When I asked the front desk, I was told they’re a walk in clinic so it doesn’t matter I have an appt. Front desk was unfriendly and not very welcoming.
If your clinic doesn’t prioritize appts and it’s first come first serve, don’t give people the option to make appts expecting to be seen at the time of their appt. It makes absolutely no sense.

The facility was new and clean. The Dr who saw me was so nice. He did s thorough exam came to a quick diagnosis and prescribed meds. I would recommend this facility to anyone.

Such a poor experience. Their radiology system was down so the X-ray was not read. I am sure Medicare will be billed in full for no information provided. I am no further ahead.

It was no help . It’s been a week and I am worse than last week. I was told I had a virus, but not what. There were no tests and the doctor didn’t listen to my lungs or look at my nose. She gave me steroids and refused to prescribe antibiotics.

The signing up procedure was a bit challenging. Zocdoc must be a new way to make contact. It’s not as efficient as it was just 3 weeks ago when booking the appointment was so easy on Corewell’s site.

Dr Patel was extremely rude, did not share my X ray results and told me the ortho would reach out to me which was not true. I had to contact the office to get my X-rays on disk and received a voicemail that they were ready at the desk. When I arrived the next morning the disc was no where to be found and I had to return later in the day to receive it.
