About Dr. Courtney Alexander

The waiting time was too long. And the male doctor (he was the only OB-GYN provider) was so unkind. When I said I preferred a female doctor , he left without giving me the paper clothes, and I had to ask the office staff for instructions. The waiting time was more than 2 hours. And the music was too loud. It seemed like the music was for the staff, not for the patient. And the office staff named Mary was laughing and talking to another staff when i expressed concern about the waiting time.

This is a review of the office, not the doctor herself. Viva Eve lists most insurances as accepted / in network on Zocdoc but it is intentionally wrong. It is an out of network provider for most insurances. Somebody called to confirm my appointment ahead of time and chose not to mention on the call or during the check in process they are OON. Instead, after having me fill out forms, upload my license and insurance and taking a photo of me, they sat me down in a room to watch a video and then talk to a 'billing specialist.' Immediate red flag vibes.
The glass room talk is the first I was told they were out of network, in a litigation with Cigna and that Cigna had agreed to an in network split but the bills would go through a lawyer or something? All extremely odd. The 'specialist' also repeatedly told me that Cigna would cover a portion of the services I was to receive even though my OON deductible had not been hit. Also wouldn't give an estimate for the appointment.

Love this office the staff and doctors are very friendly. I got the a little after 12 but was still seem right away.They send appointment reminders via email & text and they also call as well. Dr Alexander was very nice she went over everything with me and she was gentle when performing my pap smear unlike past female gyns that I've had. I was very pleased with my appointment.
