About Dr. Daliya Heng

Dr. Daliya Heng, born and raised in Southern California, earned her bachelor’s degree in Social Ecology from the University of California, Irvine. Her passion for medicine led her to pursue a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine at Western University of Health Sciences. She was not only a standout student but also a founding president of the American Association for Women Podiatrists. Her leadership and academic excellence were recognized as she was the recipient for AAWP Founders Scholarship. Dr. Heng’s surgical and clinical training includes a comprehensive foot and ankle surgical residency at the Veterans Affairs Palo Alto Healthcare System, affiliated with Stanford Healthcare and Kaiser Permanente. During her residency, she served as Chief Resident, gaining extensive experience in a wide range of forefoot, rearfoot, and ankle pathologies that included diabetic foot care, limb salvage, trauma, and complex foot and ankle reconstruction. Dr. Heng is board qualified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery, reflecting her commitment to excellence in the field. Dr. Heng is dedicated to advancing her field through continuing education and research. She has contributed to medical literature and presented academic posters at the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons Annual Scientific Meeting. Outside of her professional life, Dr. Heng is an avid runner and tennis player, embodying her commitment to a balanced and active lifestyle.
