About Dr. Dan Dewar

While at Purdue, Dr. Dewar met a chiropractor who explained that the body is self-healing and the goal of chiropractic is to help the body heal itself by removing nerve interference. This approach to health care resonated with him and created a passion to help people restore their health that is still going strong after 20+ years. Outside of chiropractic, Dr. Dewar enjoys fishing, boating, and spending time with family. "My favorite thing about being a chiropractor is seeing my patient’s lives change and have a better quality of life because of the care that I have provided."

Northshore Portage/Chiropractor After being at a lower back pain level of an 8-9-10 for about 2 years, physical therapy, steroids, not sleeping well and barely being able to get out of my car, after one visit to Dr Dan and the very next day the pain level went down to a 2/3 more so just sore. Slept fantastically and work went smoothly. Obviously will continue with his treatment for a full recovery! Dr Dan is very thorough, extremely knowledgeable and very attentive to your personal experience of pain and plan of action to get you to feeling your best self.
