Dr. Dana Florence was born and raised in Indianapolis, IN, a city that is still home to most of her family, and a place rich in memories and joy. Growing up, she always knew she wanted to be in the healthcare field, but her path didn’t become clear until a chiropractor came to speak to her high school class. After that presentation, she began researching chiropractic care and discovered the she loved the philosophy of it. That led to a visit to Life University and from that very first visit to campus, she knew chiropractic care was the profession for her. Interestingly, it wasn’t until she started chiropractic school that she received her first adjustment - and immediately knew she had chosen the right field. What her patients appreciate most about Dr. Dana is that she listens to their needs and devotes time to understanding their symptoms and addressing the areas of concern. They also describe her as trustworthy, and honest, qualities that help them feel safe in her care. Dr. Dana defines wellness as feeling good mentally, physically and emotionally: truly functioning at your best. She maintains her own wellness by exercising, getting regular chiropractic care, and taking the time to rest when needed.
