We were able to get a timely appointment with an excellent ortho shoulder specialist on zocdoc! Dr. Salazar was very pleasant, thorough and professional. Dr Salazar is a very pleasant physician. He makes interacting with his a pleasure. Because we both work at the same institution, I am fully aware of his competence, hence this element has never been under question. But I have been surprised of the extent he makes clinical practice enjoyable for his patients, his residents. Dr. Salazar is a knowledgeable, kind, informative,hands on doctor. He”s also friendly and concerned about your hurts pain and complaints. My visits are always short and he even went to bat with the insurance company when they at first wrongfully denied a much needed surgery.You can’t go wrong with Dr. Salazar, he puts his patients first.

After seeing another physician for my injury and being told I'll see you in surgery with no real explanation of the whole surgery and recovery process, it was great to meet Dr. Salazar who explained everything in detail. His office staff went over everything with me which was extremely informative. I would recommend Dr. Salazar to anyone who has shoulder issues. I will be continuing my current recovery with him and plan to have him repair my other shoulder once the first one has healed.

I had been having issues with my shoulder for over 15 years before meeting Dr. Salazar. I had consulted over 5 surgeons to end the constant suffering of pain and limitation of mobility. Dr. Salazar’s professional approach, patience and follow up after each stage, before and after the total shoulder replacement surgery, ended my suffering and now I live normally and am able to use my arm without any problem. Dr. Salazar is a dedicated professional who cares for his patients’ with passion. I do recommend him for any one who wants to have a medical professional advice with dedication and passion.

Dr. Salazar is very professional, pleasant and I felt like I was in good hands when I had my surgery. At my follow up visits he has been very supportive and patient with me.
I have already told all my friends and family if you have shoulder problems he is the one to see.
He has a gentle kindness about him along with a great sense of humor.
