I am a Licensed Psychologist and Psychoanalyst in Florida providing individual therapy both virtually and in-person in Miami. My work is grounded in contemporary psychoanalysis and existential psychology, with a focus on helping patients better understand themselves, heal from trauma, and live more authentically.
I specialize in working with individuals struggling with trauma, relationship difficulties, anxiety, grief, identity concerns, self-destructive patterns, and feelings of disconnection from themselves or others. Together, we explore the deeper emotional experiences and life patterns that may be keeping you stuck, helping you develop greater insight, freedom, emotional clarity, and authenticity.
My approach is collaborative, thoughtful, and deeply relational. I believe meaningful change occurs when people feel truly seen, understood, and able to examine their lives honestly and without judgment. Therapy is not simply about symptom reduction, but about creating lasting transformation and a more fulfilling way of living.
I earned my Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Miami and completed advanced post-graduate training in adult psychoanalysis through the Florida Psychoanalytic Institute. I previously served as Clinical Director of the Children’s Bereavement Center and have been interviewed by outlets including NPR and the Miami Herald.

What is your typical process for working with clients?
Our work begins with an initial consultation where we discuss what brings you to therapy, your current concerns, and what you hope to gain from the process. I also take time to learn about your personal history, relationships, and the emotional experiences that may be contributing to present difficulties.
From there, therapy becomes an ongoing collaborative process focused on developing deeper self-understanding and creating meaningful, lasting change. Sessions are conversational and reflective, allowing space to explore thoughts, emotions, patterns in relationships, and experiences that may not always be fully conscious or easy to articulate.
My approach is grounded in psychoanalytic and existential therapy, which means we work not only toward symptom relief, but also toward understanding the underlying dynamics that shape how you experience yourself, others, and your life more broadly. Over time, many clients find that therapy helps them feel more emotionally connected, less stuck in repetitive patterns, and better able to live in ways that feel authentic and fulfilling.
