Dr. Eckert first attended Amherst College in Amherst, MA, where he graduated as a National Merit Scholar with a bachelor’s in psychology. He went on to earn his Psy.D. in clinical psychology from Yeshiva University, Ferkauf Graduate School in Bronx, NY. He has subsequent training in clinical hypnosis.

I wasn't crazy about going into counseling. It's been a few weeks now and I feel very comfortable with Dr. Eckert. He's insightful & not afraid to ask the tough questions. I always leave our appointments with something to think about

I have not been to therapy since I was a teenager and was extremely anxious about revisiting that situation. Dr. Eckert made me feel completely comfortable, and I felt able to tell him everything. I left the office feeling less tense, and like therapy might actually work this time.
