Dr Engorn genuinely wanted to find a solution to the long-term problem that I have had and followed up with a personal email after he'd thought about something else. I even had a xray on the spot without having to go anywhere else. In the 20+ years of treatment overseas, I had never been offered this particular medication to reduce swelling. The effect was immediate and ended up also addressing some other aches and pains that I was experiencing. I am very happy and highly recommend Dr Engorn and the team in DC.”

About Dr. David Engorn
We are pleased to welcome Dr. David Engorn to The Orthopedic Center and back to the area as he returns from a one-year sports and reconstructive surgical fellowship in Las Vegas, Nevada. During his fellowship, he served as a team physician for the Las Vegas Raiders (NFL), Golden Knights (NHL), UFC fighters, and Cirque du Soleil performers. He also gained extensive experience with minimally invasive bunion surgery and ankle-related sports injuries.
Dr. Engorn is a board-certified, fellowship-trained podiatrist and foot and ankle surgeon who specializes in minimally invasive bunion surgery, ankle sprains and lower extremity sports injuries, foot and ankle trauma, foot and ankle arthritis, and both operative and nonoperative management of the foot and ankle.
He earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from Barry University and completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Maryland. Prior to his fellowship, Dr. Engorn completed residency training at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital and MedStar Washington Hospital Center, focusing on diabetic limb salvage and limb preservation. He also practiced locally for several years before pursuing his fellowship.

The doctor and I knew of each other through common knowledge, some experiences, and territorial familiarity with Bethesda MD and through Suburban Hospital there. He found my "hammer toe: and treated it and the rest of my toenails on both feet (which they needed,) He said he'd plan to see me again in 2 months, or so, which was/is fine with me.
