About Dr. David Engorn
We are pleased to welcome Dr. David Engorn to The Orthopedic Center and back to the area as he returns from a one-year sports and reconstructive surgical fellowship in Las Vegas, Nevada. During his fellowship, he served as a team physician for the Las Vegas Raiders (NFL), Golden Knights (NHL), UFC fighters, and Cirque du Soleil performers. He also gained extensive experience with minimally invasive bunion surgery and ankle-related sports injuries.
Dr. Engorn is a board-certified, fellowship-trained podiatrist and foot and ankle surgeon who specializes in minimally invasive bunion surgery, ankle sprains and lower extremity sports injuries, foot and ankle trauma, foot and ankle arthritis, and both operative and nonoperative management of the foot and ankle.
He earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from Barry University and completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Maryland. Prior to his fellowship, Dr. Engorn completed residency training at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital and MedStar Washington Hospital Center, focusing on diabetic limb salvage and limb preservation. He also practiced locally for several years before pursuing his fellowship.

Dr. Engorn was super great. Went in for a foot consultation for persistent blisters and he helped me understand what my real foot issue was. While we didn’t “solve” the problem he helped give me some tips and product ideas I could try to get through marathon training pain free. He was a great listener and I left feeling confident about how to manage my feet moving forward.

Amazing! Very knowledgeable, kind, personable. He took the time to explain procedures and my options in clear language and visuals. Would highly recommend to anyone and would go again without question to see him. 10/10! The staff was also fun and lovely. Very helpful! The only one issue I had was I booked a 1pm appointment on ZocDoc but the office had it for 1:40pm instead. It was easily fixed by calling in advance to shift the time to 1:10 (the earliest available) but seems like there is a glitch in the system that needs to be worked out. Otherwise, this was an excellent practice and would definitely refer anyone there. I would just recommend confirming after scheduling through ZocDoc to make sure the time of the appointment is accurate.
