“As soon as I walked in the receptionist was friendly and helpful. She walked me through the process of using MyChart to finish the check-in process and made small talk. The medical assistant was kind, and then when the doctor came in, he was super friendly and listened to what I said. He had some helpful suggestions and explained things clearly but also like he was talking to a human being and not a fellow doctor. I will absolutely keep using him as my doctor and I would highly recommend anyone who is on the fence about replacing one or looking for a new one. ”

David Friedman, MD, FACC, FASE, FASNC, is a compassionate cardiologist who listens to his patients' concerns and medical complaints, offering appropriate cardiovascular services. He has a particular focus on prevention, sports cardiology, treatment, and management of various adult cardiac conditions, along with caring for patients with heart failure. Dr. Friedman earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from Albany Medical College. After completing postgraduate medical training, he has been caring for patients in various Long Island medical office settings as well as in local hospitals for over 16 years. As a previous director of heart failure services at local community hospitals, he led efforts to assist heart failure patient and nursing education initiatives and worked to decrease unplanned hospitalizations of patients with advanced heart failure.
