About Dr. David Garchar
Dr. David Garchar, DPM, is a 1999 graduate of the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine, where he graduated with honors and was the valedictorian of his class.
He completed a three-year podiatric medicine and surgery residency at Forum Health in Youngstown, Ohio. During the third year of his residency, he was the chief resident of the program and presented at numerous conferences across the United States.
Dr. Garchar has also published numerous newspaper articles and journal articles and a chapter in a major podiatric surgical text.
Dr. David Garchar is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association. He is on staff at Atrium hospital in Concord, North Carolina. He is double board-certified in primary care and foot and ankle surgery by the American Board of multiple specialties in podiatry.
He also enjoys treating athletes, as he played varsity soccer at The Ohio State University. Wound care, dermatology, diabetes, and surgery are his practice specialties, including the use of lasers to treat skin and nail disorders.
He enjoys all sports and outdoor activities, traveling, and spending time with his wife, Amber.
