He then served in the military as a paratrooper and linguist during the Persian Gulf War. He earned his medical degree at the international, bilingual program in Guadalajara, Mexico, finished at Mt. Sinai School of Medicine in New York, and completed his psychiatry residency at Lincoln Hospital in the South Bronx. As an attending psychiatrist he practiced in Baltimore, MD for a decade treating a wide range of psychiatric patients including a large indigent population with severe, psychiatric illness. He currently resides in Phoenix, Arizona, working at Serenity’s Chandler location. In addition to his adult out-patient practice, he is a member of the American Psychiatric Association. He is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Serenity Mental Health Centers' team of mental health professionals provide integrated psychiatric care with cutting-edge technology and breakthrough treatment options, including medication management, TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation) treatment, and ketamine therapy. We specialize in helping people who suffer from severe mental health conditions, such as treatment-resistant depression, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorder, PTSD and more.
