Dr. Sean Newport, D.C. is the President and CEO of Phoenix Spine and Health, PLLC. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Florida, earning a degree in Cardiopulmonary Technology, and graduated Cum Laude from Life University with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree and a B.S. in Nutrition. Dr. Newport holds numerous professional certifications in advanced diagnostics and clinical procedures, including impairment and disability rating and Manipulation Under Anesthesia (MUA) certifications through The Physicians Academy in Dallas, TX and the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners. With nearly 31 years of experience, Dr. Newport specializes in the treatment of sports-related injuries, joint conditions of the extremities, and the painless, non-surgical treatment of cervical and lumbar disc disorders. He is highly experienced in Personal Injury, Workers’ Compensation, and auto accident cases, and has served as an expert witness in court. Excited to expand access to care, Dr. Newport has expertise in integrating multidisciplinary clinics with new service centers, and recently brought Federal Injury Centers to Knoxville to assist OWCP patients. Widely regarded as one of the area’s most respected and sought-after chiropractic physicians, he is recognized for his depth of expertise, commitment to excellence, and genuine compassion toward every patient he serves. Outside the clinic, Dr. Newport enjoys spending time with his family and watching his children grow into their careers. He loves traveling, playing guitar, cheering on the UT Volunteers, and staying active outdoors skiing, golfing and boating with the Vol Navy.
