About Dr. David Silver

Dr. David Silver is a patient-oriented and thorough doctor serving his patients in South Florida. Dr. Silver was born in New York and raised in the South Florida area. After attending the University of Michigan, he returned to Florida to earn his Doctor of Optometry degree from Nova Southeastern University, graduating with honors in May 2000. He is certified by the National Board of Examiners in Optometry and the Florida Board of Optometry to treat and manage ocular disease. Dr. Silver specializes in the treatment and management of conditions such as conjunctivitis, dry eyes, and glaucoma. He also has extensive experience with cataract and refractive surgery patients and welcomes those with cataracts, macular degeneration, dry eye, and glaucoma. Known for being patient and considerate, Dr. Silver is eager to provide insight and answer his patients’ questions. He is married and has a son, and he enjoys spending quality time with his family. An avid sports fan, he also coaches football, soccer, and lacrosse. Pannu Laser & Vision Institute is proud to have Dr. David Silver as one of our team doctors.
